Episodes
The five tapes
Watch in order. Each tape is one short recovered recording from the same night. Best in a VR headset; fine in a browser (drag the picture to look around).
Content note: horror imagery, glitch effects. Fiction. Episode descriptions below are written from the public titles and descriptions plus a review of the footage.
Bride and friends vanish after psychic freakout
A night out turns strange. Friends pile into a car, head into the dark, and settle around a candle-lit table for a reading that goes wrong. The tape ends on a blue-lit floor and a question nobody on screen can answer.
Trapped in a dark realm with no way out
The footage leaves the table and drops into a black, blue-lit void. Figures crawl, struggle and reach for each other with nowhere to run. Turn your head: there is no exit in any direction.
Someone else is inside them now
Back at the table, cards are on the cloth and something has changed in the people holding them. The picture glitches, splits and tears as the tape starts to fail.
DON’T TURN AROUND
The group watches the table. Then the camera finds one woman alone in the dark, looking straight down the lens and speaking to whoever is watching. A VR180 tape that makes eye contact.
Dragged to hell
The final tape. A ritual bowl on the table, a figure with long red hair in the foreground, and a struggle that spills across the whole scene. The last frames belong to a woman staring back at the camera.

A look at how Tomino’s Hell was made for a VR180 camera, with the cast and crew on set.
